More about NECO

NECO was created in the year 1999. At its creation, some Nigerians saw it as an opportunity for choice of examination body for candidates, while some other doubted its  capacity to conduct reliable examination that could we reckoned with both internationally or in the National level.

Since its inception the body has been extraordinary in its operations. And it has been improving so well to always match with international bodies. It has also invested heavily in data processing technology, to enable it to cope with anticipated increase in volume of data it would need to process over a short period of time.

Aside creating alternative choice of examination to most Nigerians, NECO has provided gainful employment to many Nigerians. The large number of family members who depends on these thousands NECO employee results in reduction from the number  of potential source of instability.

The history of NECO and its achievement is a very rapid developing one and could not be completely described in post as short as this.
